Fabric Runtime 1.3, now generally available, offers significant improvements, including enhanced editors for data warehousing, SQL analytics endpoints, and broader support for data wrangling using Spark dataframes and PySpark code. Microsoft also presented impressive statistics, highlighting the sheer power of their platform, processing 8.3 exabytes of events and logs monthly, ingesting 300 petabytes of data daily, and handling 4.2 billion real-time queries. OneLake, Microsoft’s unified data lake solution, simplifies collaboration and data access while supporting 16 billion interactions daily. Security is paramount, and Microsoft’s introduction of Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies for Fabric Lakehouse elevates data governance. With advanced tools like Azure AI Search, Prompt Flow, and Copilot Studio integrated with Fabric and OneLake, our customers can develop intelligent agents to further automate and improve decision-making.
